This beautiful commemorative certificate of the D.H.S. Distinguished Service Commemorative Medal, honoring your Veteran’s service and sacrifice for Distinguished and Meritorious Service for the Department of Homeland Security.
The Distinguished Service Medal (DSM) is a military award that is presented to any person who, while serving in any capacity with the United States military, has distinguished himself or herself by exceptionally meritorious service to the Government in a duty of great responsibility. The performance must be such as to merit recognition for service that is clearly exceptional. Exceptional performance of normal duty will not alone justify an award of this decoration.
This DSM Commemorative Certificate is customized for the Veteran and their period of service. The certificate is printed on high quality 110 lb weight certificate card stock with state of the art laser printing. The Certificate measure 8 ½ x 11”. This is not a Government Certificate, but a Commemorative Issue for Vietnam Service.
