Power over Ethernet
Reolink RLA-PS1 provides a reliable PoE solution featuring 8 PoE+ ports (10/100Mbps) and 2 Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports (10/100/1000Mbps). Compliant with IEEE802.3af/at standard, it can deliver up to 30W for each PoE port and has a total power budget of 120W for at most 8 PoE devices.
Intelligent Power Management
This PoE switch features the power management mechanism, so when the total allocated power exceeds the power budget (120W), the lower priority PoE port will be powered off one by one until the total power is below the threshold that the PoE switch is capable of supplying, which ensures the high priority PoE port’s power supply and protects the device from power overload.
Plug & Play, Designed to meet your different needs
The PoE switch can be directly connected to your NVR for higher reliability and security, or it can be connected to the same LAN as your NVR to support more features of your cameras. If you don't have NVR, you can also connect your PoE camera and router directly through the PoE switch.

The function of this PoE switch is to supply power to PoE devices, excluding the DHCP function, and can not assign IP address to POE devices. The PoE switch must be connected to a router or NVR.
How does the power management work?
When the total power output of connected devices exceeds 120W, the PoE switch will power off the devices one by one until the power output is below 120W. Therefore, we recommend connecting devices from 1 to 8 according to their importance.
